Clock Conundrum

There was a dead space above my couch for a year. I tried buying artwork. I thought about a large map. I considered floating shelves. In the end I found these funky clocks.

Love the mid-century look.

Robear does not. She says they remind her of growing up in Southern California when everyone had one of these clocks hanging in their living room. Imagine the movie “Blast From the Past.” (If you haven’t seen it, order it immediately from Netflix. It is bizarre and funny. I highly recommend it.)

I decided to make a collage of the clocks, but I am not sure that I love them.

I love each individual one, but in the space as a whole there is something missing. Is this too much of a good thing?

Any suggestions?

  • I think if you switch them around some they will work better. I really like them so if you decide you need to part with them email me. ๐Ÿ˜‰ You might need one more then have 6 in a circle around one in the middle with the pointy ones separated by the non-pointy ones. Does that make any sense to you? ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Brilliant!!! I actually have one more clock that I never returned to the store. Thanks for the suggestion. :)
