Visions of Christmas

Dec242011_4585

Christmas Eve and Christmas were great this year. We had lots of family time. Christmas Eve was a varied affair with April’s family enjoying time with their Sports-Addict Grandparents, while everyone else spent the Eve together at Brooke’s. It was a new experience because without April’s posse we are adults, Sparrow, and Sprite. So, it was a quiet evening.

Well, quiet to a point.

Christmas day began early with everyone headed to April’s for Santa, presents, stockings, and church.

Waiting on the stairs for everyone to arrive was a bit like prison for the kids. They wanted to see downstairs, but the mama said no.

So they waited…patiently.

And finally, once everyone was there, and everything was set, the chaos of Christmas pursued.

Kids opened presents, mugged for shots, and took in the magic of the morning.

And when all that madness made an end we headed off to church for some peace,

and Quiet.

  • Thank you Cath. These pictures are priceless (except for mine). Maybe they’ll inspire me to stop eating and save up for a neck lift. Thank you for all of your diligent effort to bring us Home Hinges so artistically. You do a fabulous job! Merry Christmas to you and thank you for a wonderful year in pictures and words!
