Bungalow Kitchen: appliances and running water

We’ve been moving in. With help from April, organization stores, the plumbing section of Lowe’s, and a holiday, we’ve been moving into our nearly finished kitchen.

April helped to maneuver the stove and fridge into place. We now have ice, and water, and cooking capability. Then she helped to hook up the best appliance ever created: a dishwasher.

Then I managed to get the sink re-plumbed.

We added a disposer and I ran the lines for the washer and waste. Then with a little help from Robear, she held the faucet and patiently helped string and restring the pullout handle, we now have running water!

We have everything plus a functioning kitchen sink. It feels like a miracle. Now there’s just all the detail work that needs to be done: a back splash, trim around the window and doors, some left over caulking, painting, etc. But nothing to stop us from unpacking some essentials and moving our dishes back in.
